Jenn told me how bummed she was that it rained on her wedding day and they weren't able to get outdoor photos. I thought it was a great reason for her to get dolled up and wear her beautiful dress again. An even better reason, John and Jenn's first wedding anniversary just passed and what better way to celebrate their love than taking photos?!?

We headed to the Presidio and took advantage of the beautiful backdrops it had to offer.

Then we headed to Sutro Baths and Ocean Beach just before the sunset :)

On a very rare sunny day in San Francisco I had the opportunity to photograph this super cute family at the newly redone Dolores park. Frances and Phil are high school sweethearts which I thought was awesome since the hubby and I are as well. Their girls Jordan and Riley were a lot of fun to work with and were good sports which earned them ice cream at the end of their session. Hope you guys enjoy!!!

Sara and Blake- Engagement Session- San Francisco + Crissy Fields, Marin Headlands

A few weeks ago I had fun photographing Sara and Blake for their engagement session. We started off at Crissy Fields just before the fog started rolling in and then ventured around the area. Both Blake and Sara are super tall and I was worried about how the photos would come out being that I'm super short (vertically challenged ;) ), but I love how they turned out!

Hey Everyone! Its been a while since I've been able to blog and i feel terrible about that! Life's been hectic and I haven't had a chance to edit photos let alone blog. I'm training for next month's Rock n' Roll Half Marathon in SF so I have to run everyday so I don't die!!!

A while back I saw a really cute picture on Pinterest with kid's hands in the shape of a heart. I thought this was a great idea and suggested it to the room moms and teacher and they loved the idea. A couple weeks ago I was able to photograph the kid's and boy was that a task! 22 kids all in one spot for more than 60 seconds was daunting, but I was able to capture what I needed.

My son's school has an annual auction that fundraises money for the school. Our PTA is awesome and definitely makes a huge effort to bring extracurricular activities to the kids that might otherwise not be available due to budget restraints.

My question to you guys is which photo do you prefer? I like the BW photo and think it would be more appealing to the masses in regards to people bidding on it at the auction, and actually putting the print up on their walls. Here they are, please let me know what you think would be a good choice for a wall sized print in the comment section below.

I can add wording to the color one as well just need to know everyone's preference on BW vs Color :)

Camryn - Child Photography Session - San Francisco + Baker Beach

Hello!!! This week has been crazy busy, but I wanted to make sure that I blogged about this child session I had this past weekend. I was contacted by Camryn's mom Noelle who told me Cam needed some photos for her modeling portfolio. I was excited because I've known Noelle since elementary school and this would be my first time seeing her in years.

We headed to San Francisco's Baker Beach, and boy was it windy. I worked as quickly as I could, and it was a good thing Cam was such a good sport. I love how much sass this little cutie had! It reminded me of her auntie's ;) I hope you enjoy these Noelle, better be ready to check those boys because she's gonna be a heartbreaker!

I just wanna squeeze her!!!

Jennifer and Elliot Sneak Peek- Engagement Session- Saratoga + Wildwood Park

Last weekend I had the chance to finally meet Jennifer and Elliot for their engagement session. They decided on Wildwood Park in Saratoga. It was a beautiful day out and there were many locations for great photos.

Jennifer and Elliot have been together for 5 years. They worked at a video game company and Elliot says Jennifer ignored him in the beginning. On a night when everyone was required to work late Elliot had the opportunity to talk to Jennifer when she needed a ride home. From there they developed their relationship and Elliot proposed to Jennifer 5 years later.

Jennifer is crazy talented! She makes these awesome clay pendants check out her Facebook page and show her some love!

And now on to the photos. Jennifer warned me before the session that they have never taken professional photos before and stated they would probably be hard to work with. I have to disagree :)

Thank you Jennifer and Elliot! You guys were a lot of fun and I can't wait until your big day!

Wendy and Philip - Couple's Session- San Francisco + Japanese Tea Garden

Over the weekend I had a couple's session with Wendy and Philip at the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. It was a gorgeous morning and the garden was just opening up so there weren't too many people enjoying the garden yet. It has been years since the last time visited the garden and it was as beautiful as I remembered it.

Wendy told me that it has been a while since they've actually taken any photos together. She said she was unhappy with her wedding photos and was glad that I was doing this for her (no pressure >_<). So we walked around the garden and found many locations. I hope you enjoy these Wendy!!!

After the garden we walked around the Amphitheater just outside the Japanese Tea Garden. By this time it was already bustling with people.

L-O Family- Family Photo Session- Albany + Memorial Park

Last weekend I had the honor of photographing one of my favorite families! We headed over to Memorial Park in Albany the morning of Super Bowl Sunday. It was absolutely beautiful outside and the kids had a great time playing. I always feel like everyone cooperates much more when they are enjoying themselves. And smiles are more genuine and natural :)

Mason is such a happy and mellow baby. I just wanna squish his cheeks!

Nate has quite the personality, he's such a funny kid and definitely a boy's boy, but look at how gentle he is with his baby brother!

And here's one with Ate Chynna, she's such a good big sister. It seems like yesterday that she was Mason's size :*(

And of course mom and dad weren't planning on being in the photos, but I insisted and I'm so glad they joined the fun!

Talibah, Kai, & Kalani - Child/ Family Photography Session- Oakland+ Mills College

Over the weekend I was asked to photograph this beautiful family in Oakland at Mills College. I have never been to the campus before but we found so many places for great photo op's. These ladies were great to photograph, they are truly naturals in front of the camera! The night before Ms. Talibah hurt her ankle! Little did we know she actually BROKE it! And here I had her walking all over the place! I do hope you love these and forgive me for making you do all that walking!

I love the individual photos i was able to capture of Talibah, Kai, and Kalani. Aren't they GORGEOUS!!!!

Joshua - Child Photography Session- San Francisco + Alamo Park

Over the weekend I was asked to photograph this future heartbreaker Joshua. It was slightly overcast which is normal for San Francisco, but this meant great lighting for their session. We played at the playground and I was able to get some great shots. I love photographing outdoors and feel kids enjoy it more also.

In the photo below he was serenading me with Justin Bieber's- As Long As You Love Me.

And of course, mama had no intention of being in the photos but I HAD to include her! And I'm so glad I did!

I love when kids pick up on things they see on tv or from their parents. Not sure where he got it from but he had me crackin up!

Something about this one just makes me smile. I just wanna squeeze him!

Karly and Sofia- Child Photography Session- San Francisco

Sunday was absolutely beautiful for the 3rd day in a row! Usually unheard of for San Francisco's crazy weather. I was fortunate to photograph one of my daughter's BFF's from school, and they decided the zoo would be a great location. With a couple 4 year olds and a 10 month old, we saw everything but animals lol. But no one complained and the BFF's were just happy to be in each other's company. Despite almost being attacked by birds a couple times, we had a fantastic time and I was able to capture some great moments between the girls.

Karly is very sweet and gentle with her baby sister Sofia!

How cute are these two bottom teeth?!?

We ended the day at a nearby park since the playground at the zoo is under construction. Although I initially put my camera away, I couldn't resist taking a few more photos!

Kaylee- Child Photography Session- San Mateo

This past weekend I was asked to photograph Kaylee, a cute, independent 2 year old with curly hair. She was definitely a tough crowd, but with mommy's cardio/aerobics dance and a noise maker of some sort, we were able to coax a couple smiles out of this little beauty.

We headed to the park and though a little windy, the weather was beautiful :)

I don't know if you can tell, but this is where mommy was dancing! Anything for a smile right?!?

R Family Photo Session- San Francisco

As San Francisco weather is so unpredictable, I was crossing my fingers for a "dry" session the following day. Luckily the weather gods decided SF needed some sunshine and Friday was absolutely beautiful.

Daniela and George wanted some family photos taken at the Palace of Fine Arts and Crissy Fields. We started their session at the Palace of Fine Arts; and since this is a hot tourist attraction, their little one was quite popular. I mean all the tourists had their cameras pointed at Gaby, but she didn't back down she just posed like it was the thing to do. lol

We were finally able to slip away from the tourists and start our session.

I love when little girls adore their daddy's! Gaby makes George one big ol' teddy bear! lol

We headed over to Crissy Fields for a few more photos and an outfit change. GO NINERS!!!

Long Weekend Road Trip-Cousin Edition

For the second year in a row, a few of my cousins, my sister and I headed down to LA for IMATS. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a trade show for make-up artists. They have tons of vendors who offer great deals for purchasing their products at the show. I had no plans of purchasing anything since I still have tons of make up that I haven't used from the last show, but of course I couldn't resist a "Good Deal" lol. The main reason I went to LA was because I love spending time with my family. There is never a dull moment and we're usually in tears from laughing so hard. Here are a few of the photos from our quick road trip...

The show was crazy crowded and the whole time felt like the photo below... a blur!

We were able to take some photos with a couple YouTube gurus, Koren and Pursebuzz

After a long day of shopping at IMATS a couple of of my Socal cousins joined us for dinner. It's too bad the photo is blurry :(

The next day was full of anxiety and excitement. Our home team the SF 49ers were playing for a spot in Super Bowl XLVII. We were able to claim a little section at BJ's Brewery to watch the game and rep the Bay in LA. The guys came to join us from their "Bro-cation". We were clearly the loudest fans and I'm surprised we weren't kicked out! Don't worry we tipped well ;)

Victory and family time never felt so good! Thank god they won because that would've been a long car ride home!!!

Abigail Newborn Photo Session-Livermore

Angell contacted me a couple weeks ago and asked if I would photograph her baby girl Abigail. We just needed little Ms. Abigail to make an appearance. Angell went to the hospital last Monday and had no idea she was in labor, but she was definitely ready to welcome Abigail to the world. After much anticipation Abigail made her grand entrance and already has her dad Jonathan wrapped around her tiny finger :)

Its amazing to see how a baby can change a person's life, and it was definitely apparent that Angell and Jonathan are totally in love with Abigail.

Abigail was just the sweetest! I swear she made my uterus hurt... I'm kidding... Ok maybe lol

Thank you again Angell and Jonathan for trusting me to photograph your beautiful baby girl!!! And because I am a SF Giants fan... I think Abi agrees ;)

M Family Photo Session- San Francisco

Lou and Tamir happen to be one of my favorite couples! Add a couple adorable kids and they are one of my favorite families! I knew the session would be great when I showed them one my son's favorite apps on my phone, Gangnam Photo Booth; With the song Gangnam Style blaring from my phone, their son Brock yells "THAT's MY SONG"!!!! From that point on I knew that this would be a great session.

They decided they wanted their photos to be taken at Golden Gate Park Children's Playground. Despite the frigid temperature (anything below 60 is freezing to me) they worked the camera.

Brock is a perfect combination of his parents and won me over with his personality :)

Nora was a tough one, but thankfully I was able to capture a couple smiles.

Thank you again Lou and Tamir for letting me capture your beautiful family! I had such a great time hanging out with you guys!
